Prices & Payment
To book an appointment please fill out our online booking form. Please remember to send your e-transfer deposit to secure your appointment to trentonspay@gmail.com. Please note appointments will not be booked without a deposit.

Prices may vary if your animal is younger than 6 months or older than 4 years, if your animal is over 75lbs, or if your animal has any medical complications. Larger animals may require more sedation and IV fluids, which affects the price. Please note that we no longer perform rabbit surgeries.

If you don't know what sex your animal is (sometimes it's hard to tell) we can help you with that when you book your appointment!

Please note, we will not operate on any sick animals, and if we detect something wrong on our preoperative physical exam, we will cancel the surgery in the best interest of your pet.

If we find a hernia on your cat or dog during our physical exam, we will inform you. Hernia repairs are usually $100 to repair at the time of the spay or neuter.

Male dogs can sometimes have a condition called "cryptorchidism", which is a failure of one or both testicles to drop. This creates complications for surgery, so we will call you to discuss the options. Prices vary depending on the difficulty of surgery.

A $75 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. This is transferable with 24 hours notice.
We do not have a credit machines available, this helps us keep our costs down by avoiding credit card charges.

Emavert
$50 plus HST
What is Emavert and why was it suggested and when it is required
-
Emavert is an anti-nausea medication and helps with inflammation in the stomach and intestines. We suggest this because our pets get nauseous for various reasons, like: motion sickness from car rides to the clinic, anxiety due to normal routine being changed, stress, change in diet, fasting and surgical medications etc.
-
Some breeds, brachycephalics, are more likely to be nauseous, and you will see emavert on your estimate before admitting, for example, Pugs, Frenchies, Boxers, and Bulldogs.
Microchip
$50 plus HST
Adding a microchip during surgery is easy and painless. Microchips are about the size of a grain of rice, and can help locate your animal if it gets lost.
Please order your microchip at the time of booking.
