Meet Our Team
Dr. Denise has been a veterinary surgeon for over 30 years (but we're not saying she's old!)
Denise is a hard-working and fun-loving gal and when she's not performing surgery, she's performing on her beautiful horse!
Denise goes full-out with everything she does, and she LOVES her job!
Dr. Julia graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1989 and has been working in small animal clinical practice since then. Julia is our rabbit surgeon. She loves working on rabbits and is doing her part to control the rabbit population!
When she's not hard at work here, you can find Julia hard at work in her garden, or practicing with Canada's oldest Town Band, the Perth Citizen's Band.
Brittany is one of our fantastic VAs. When she isn't doing an outstanding job as our lead recovery she's out in the barn with her girl Gemma.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Jennifer graduated in 1998 from St. Lawrence College. She has worked with small animals for 23 years. Although she loves working with animals, she also has fun stuff she likes to do like backpacking, hiking and gardening.
Jennifer is a board member for Quinte West Gardens Growing Community, and she has 3 cats who were adopted from the Loyalist Humane Society...Robby, Bobby and Wade!
Registered Veterinary Technician
From a young age Rebecca knew she would work with animals. She graduated from St. Lawrence College with a passion for small animal behaviour, surgery, and helping clients enhance the human - animal bond.
Rebecca has four fur kids, Inuk (Pomeranian), Todd and Pippa (Pembroke Corgis) and Hope the cat. In her spare time she loves training her dogs in flyball, agility, and anything fast!
Barb is the "Jill-of-all-trades" in the clinic and manages the day to day running of the place. If you want anything done, just ask Barb!
Barb is an avid runner and cyclist, and has completed over 100 half-marathons (we're not sure why).
Barb is a huge advocate for local rescues, and you can usually find a few of her foster cats living at the clinic!
Lisa's background is in the medical laboratory, but she has left human medicine and gone over to the DOG side! You can find Lisa's smiling face behind our front desk, and if you call the clinic it's likely you will talk to her. She's great at answering all your questions and putting your mind at rest!
When Lisa is not answering phones or generally organizing the clinic, she spends time with her husband Pat, and their dog, Harley Quinn :)
Emily spends her days holding and prepping all the patients for surgery, basically cuddling and cleaning all the four legged friends that stop by for a visit.
When Emily isn't here she's hanging out with her girl Kleo or keeping her cat Kuma out of trouble.
Veterinary Assistant, Clinic Support and Heavy Lifting
Pat is our all-around IT guy, handyman, recovery room support and token male! If it's broken, we call Pat!
Pat loves working with animals, and he has a special affinity for cats and nail polish (we're not sure why). When he's not in the recovery room or repairing something, he likes to spend time with his wife Lisa, and their dog Harley Quinn!
Every vet clinic needs a cat!
Our cat Bob like to help out during the day, but we often find him sleeping on the job.
